At its launch on March 10th, artWALK drew a crowd of over 500 art lovers, aficionados and socialites to the galleries of 798. Visitors stopped in at Timezone 8 Editions to hear a lecture given by renowned critic and curator Karen Smith. Chinese Contemporary, Galleria Continua, Long March Space, Paris-Beijing Photo Studio and Red T Gallery kept their doors open until 8 pm to give artWALKers an intimate, after-hours art experience. Italian Food and Wines gave one and all a taste of Italy and generously kept wine flowing in the galleries. From 7:30 until 9:30, Yan Club Art Center was thumping with beats from the Syndicate's DJ Elemental and walkers turned into revelers thanks to ABSOLUT's cocktails.
